Volunteer with friends and family!
Volunteers play an integral part in accomplishing our mission at Olympic Coast National Marine
Sanctuary. Taking an active role caring for the environment is easy and there are opportunities for
people of all ages.
Get involved! Join hundreds of volunteers in removing harmful marine debris from our coast at
Washington Coast Cleanup.
Help scientists! Collect data as a citizen scientist for
Spread the word! Become a trained volunteer docent and conduct outreach at
Olympic Coast Discovery Center.
The Olympic Coast Discovery Center is open daily 10:00am-5:00pm between Memorial Day and Labor Day
weekends, and weekends only in the fall. Docents typically contribute between 2-6 hours per week.
