Details: The goal of the workshop is for the Advisory Council to make recommendations about
the priority issues it believes should be addressed in the revised management plan. The
workshop is open to the public and there will be a short public comment period each day.

April 18 - Washington Coast Cleanup
Celebrate Earth Day 2009 and help remove marine debris from Washington's
Pacific Coast. Plastic water bottles, fishing nets, tires, and all kinds
of other items that are harmful to the environment wash up on
Washington's beaches all year and need to be removed before they cause
further damage to our marine mammals, fish, plants, and birds. More
information on volunteering for this and other beach cleanup events is
available at www.coastsavers.org.
